Shipping Policies
Domestic Shipping (USA)
General Info
Economy shipping for orders over $199 is FREE to the contiguous USA!
We also ship to Hawaii and Alaska, although they typically require additional shipping, which is automatically added at checkout.
We use the most cost-effective shipping method and courier available to ship your item. We will provide you with a tracking number when your order ships.
Any order placed before 12:00 p.m. ET will be shipped the following business day.
Typical Shipping Times
Standard items (non-personalized) usually ship within 1-2 business days (M-F) out of Columbus, Ohio.
Due to the dimensions of the packaging of our poster maps, the shipping time of your item may take seven to ten business days for delivery via USPS.
Personalized orders typically take a day or two longer, although the timing is partially dependent on how quickly you approve your proof once you receive it, and if there are any revisions requested. See the Personalization section below for more information.
Please allow extra time if you ordered a personalized map or during the holiday season (November and December).
Typical Arrival Times
Within the US, your order will typically arrive in 2-5 business days after they leave our hands, depending on your distance from us in Columbus, Ohio.
Expedited Options
We offer expedited shipping options for most US locations.
Expedited shipping not necessarily speed up the processing time, but does get the item to you a little faster once we ship it.
If you do not see expedited options when checking out, it means you are located in a zone that already gets 2-day shipping, or that your item ships USPS, for which we do not offer expedited options.
PO & APO Boxes
We can ship many items to PO boxes and APO boxes, though these locations may require additional shipping or have size restrictions that prevent us from shipping there, so please use a physical address whenever possible.
A 48x32" push pin map, for example, cannot be shipped using USPS as it exceeds their dimensional restrictions. Feel free to reach out to us and request FedEx estimates.
If you must ship to a PO/APO box, please make sure to select the USPS shipping option during checkout.
Ordering Multiple Maps
If you are ordering more than one push pin map, your maps will be shipped separately with our specialty packaging so your maps will arrive safely! If you are ordering more than one poster map, to save you on shipping costs we will typically roll your poster maps together and ship them to you in one poster tube.
Please reach out to us if you would prefer to have your poster maps shipped individually. Additional shipping costs may apply.
International Shipping
General Info
We currently ship worldwide!
We use the most cost-effective shipping method available to ship your item. We will provide you with a tracking number when your order ships.
If you need your item to ship using a specific courier, please reach out to us in advance of ordering to discuss.
We do not ship to international PO boxes, so please use a physical address.
There are occasionally size restrictions that disallow us to ship certain products to certain countries. If a shipping rate is not displayed when checking out, please reach out to us to discuss options.
Any order placed before 12:00 p.m. ET will be shipped the following business day.
Duties & Customs
Please note that our shipping costs do not include any customs charges you may incur. These fees must be paid by you, the customer, and will typically be billed to you by the courier upon the package arriving in the country.
To estimate what customs costs may be, you can use an online calculator such as www.simplyduty.com (we are not associated with this company in any way).
If you are sending as a gift to someone outside the US, the recipient will be billed the customs charges.
Packages will be labeled as Merchandise on customs forms and cannot legally be marked as a Gift.

Typical Arrival Times
Orders usually take between 5 and 14 business days to arrive once they are shipped, however international shipments sometimes take longer to arrive due to a variety of factors, including courier transfers, customs delays and weather patterns.
Please be sure to order at least 3 full weeks before you need your order to arrive to be safe. We are not responsible for shipment delays as they are out of our control, but please reach out if you believe your item may be missing and we will do all we can to help.

Refunds & Exchanges
Returns
Products covered by the True North Guarantee:
We accept domestic and international returns on standard and personalized maps, and all other products covered by our True North Guarantee, which is shown on each product page.
If the map is still in new condition with no pin holes, and it is 30 days from the date of purchase, we can certainly accept a return! Return shipping costs would be your responsibility, but the cost of the product itself will be fully refunded.
If your map has pin holes and it is within 30 days from the date of purchase, we can still accept your map for a return! Note that it may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. Any restocking fee incurred will be deducted from your refund.
When returning a map to us, we recommend using the original packaging and shipping via Fedex or UPS. Please keep your tracking number. We are not responsible for packages that are damaged in shipping, so insuring your shipment for the value of your order is advised.

Products not covered by the True North Guarantee will not feature the label on the product page. These products are final sale only.
Exchanges
We are also happy to help you exchange your our item. To exchange an item, it must be in the same new condition as you received it and returned to us within 30 days of the date of purchase. Please reach out to us for more details if you would like to exchange your product.
Order Cancellation
Order cancellation is accepted for standard or personalized products as long as they have not been shipped. After an order is shipped, it must be treated as a return or exchange.
Refunds
You will receive a full refund on standard or personalized products as long as there are no holes, scratches, etc. that are a result of your use.
**Passport stamp decals with custom dates are eligible for a partial refund if returned unused.**
Refunds can only be provided to the original purchaser.
Once we receive and confirm the condition of your return, please allow 1-3 business days for your refund to be processed, or up to 7 business days during the holiday shopping season.
Shipping Expenses
For returns and exchanges, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility as the customer, unless the return/exchange is due to a quality issue, in which case we will absolutely cover the cost of shipping.
Timing
Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase.
Lost/Damaged Items
Damages
If your product is damaged during shipping, we will ship a new one to you as soon as possible. Your cooperation may be necessary to work with claims services, so please keep all packaging and the product in the condition in which it was received for photos or inspection, otherwise we may not be able to replace your product.
If you receive a map with a manufacturing defect, please let us know! We'll send you a prepaid shipping label via email to get your damaged item back. Then we'll arrange for a replacement or refund.
Lost Items
In the unlikely case of a lost item, we can file an inquiry after approximately 15 days have passed with no new tracking updates. We will not replace a package until it is confirmed as lost by the courier.
Prevention
By default, our packages do not require a signature to be delivered. Once a package shows as "delivered" on the tracking information, we are not responsible for any items that are missing or stolen. We will not refund or replace any items that are confirmed as delivered by the courier.
For added assurance, you may opt to have Signature-Required delivery added to your order for a small additional fee. This option is available in the Cart page before you check out. If you select this upgrade, you are responsible for being available for the delivery of your package. If your package is returned to the sender after multiple delivery attempts, you will need to cover reshipment costs for us to send the item out again.
Personalization
Timing
Please allow 1-2 additional business days for custom work to be completed. It is up to you to approve your proof as soon as possible, as your map will not be printed until we receive your confirmation. We are not at fault for late shipments if we are waiting for your approval.
If you do not believe you have received your proof within 2 business days, feel free to contact us. We do our best to follow up, but if we cannot reach you by email within 21 days, your order will be canceled and refunded. You can place a new order at your convenience.
Proof Deliverability
Please provide an email address that you check often and whitelist yourfriends@conquestmaps.com so that you don’t miss our messages. It is possible that your proof can get stuck in your spam filter, so it's very important that you check there if you haven't heard from us within the above time frame. We may have sent your proof and are simply awaiting your response.
Typos
We are not responsible for any typos you make, although we try to help minimize errors by providing the proof approval process. Once the proof is approved, we can no longer accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges of custom work. Please make sure you check your proof carefully for typos!

Payment
Processors
Payment can be completed using a variety of convenient options. Currently, we accept:
- ShopPay - choose from interest free Installments, or pay now using most major credit/debit cards
- PayPal
- Amazon Pay
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
ShopPay Adaptive Checkout
Rates from 0%-36% APR. Payment options through Shop Pay Installments, are subject to an eligibility check and are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment may be required.

Sales Tax
Tax will be collected for certain states as their laws require. Your tax liability will be automatically calculated at checkout.
Discounts & Sales
A discount cannot be combined with any other offer.
Discounts will only be honored during the dates listed with the promotion. Purchases made before or after the promotion dates are not eligible for the discount.
Taxes and shipping are calculated after the discount has been applied to your order subtotal.
Gift cards cannot be purchased at a discount, though a discount can be used when a gift card is used to make a purchase.
Sales and discounts are only available for orders placed on ConquestMaps.com.

Shipping & Returns

How long does it take until my order ships?
We typically ship all standard (non-personalized) orders within 1-2 business days. Personalized maps may take a few additional days.

How long will it take to get to me after my order ships?
Within the US, our maps will typically arrive in 2-5 business days after they leave our hands, depending on your distance from us in Columbus, Ohio. We also have an expedited shipping option available at checkout for most US locations. This does not necessarily speed up the processing time, but does get the item to you a little faster once we ship it!
Our international orders typically take 6-10 business days to arrive after shipment, but we advise that you allow for at least 3 weeks as items occasionally get held up in customs. You will receive a notification when your order ships so you can keep track of it as it makes its way to its destination.

Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide! International orders outside of the domestic US will incur shipping charges.
How much does shipping cost?
If you are within the continental US, shipping is free for orders over $99.
If you are outside of the continental US, this depends on the product(s) you choose and where you live in the world. You can add an item to your cart to get a shipping estimate, or contact us if you have any questions about shipping costs to specific locations.
You will want to provide your exact desired order, as well as the shipping address for us to give you accurate shipping pricing. Shipping costs do not include any customs duties and taxes you may incur in the destination country. For more information on shipping to a location outside the US, click here.
Do you offer expedited shipping if I need my order faster?
We offer expedited 2-day shipping for most US locations. If you add an item to your cart, there is a shipping rates calculator where you can see the expedited shipping rate. (Please note: If you are already in a close shipping zone to Ohio, this option may not appear, since you are already in a 2 day window from us. We also do not offer expedited options on our smaller items that ship USPS, but you can contact us if you have a specific timing need on a poster or other lightweight item.)
How fast will you ship my order?
Thanks to our amazing team that has worked diligently to improve and optimize our processes, we are proud to offer 1-day shipping on personalized and non-personalized map orders!
Any order placed before 12:00 p.m. ET will be shipped the following business day (Monday - Friday).
Please note that this is only applicable to personalized orders that do not require a proof follow-up. If you check the box to approve your legend after selecting your personalization, you are good to go! If you need assistance with your legend, we will ship your order ASAP once we receive your final approval.
Though we are committed to getting your order to you as soon as possible, please note that 1-day shipping is not the same as 1-day delivery. Delivery times still depend on the courier and your distance from our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Can I return a personalized map?
We are happy to accept returns on personalized maps! They must be returned in new condition and within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, but the cost of the product itself will be fully refunded. A map with pinholes can be returned but will incur a restocking fee of up to 20% which will be deducted from your refund. For more information, please see ourReturn Policyorcontact usdirectly.
I shipped my order to the wrong address. Help!?
When checking out, please be sure to verify your shipping address for accuracy before completing your order. If after you complete your order you notice that the shipping address is incorrect, please reach out to us ASAP and we can change the address for you if the map has not yet shipped.
If the map has already shipped and is in transit, we may be able to update the delivery address with the courier. The courier would charge a fee to make a change to address while the package is in transit, and you as the customer would be responsible for the courier's change fee.
If a package is delivered to an incorrect address that was provided by the customer, we are unable to reroute or have the courier return your package.
Personalization
Many of our items are personalized. Here are general answers to personalization questions. Product-specific questions are typically answered on product page FAQ sections.
Do you offer personalized products?
We do! You can learn more about personalizing your map on each style's product page.
Can I see my personalized map legend before I order?
Our legend builder will show your proof in real time as you enter your personalizations. When prompted "Happy with your design?" you can select "yes" to approve your proof.
If you need help with your personalized legend or you have a special request, you can select "no." Describe your request in the provided text box and we will contact you within 1-2 business days with your proof. This gives you the opportunity to provide additional feedback or make revisons before your map is put into production.
Can I add a logo to my map?
We can accommodate company logos if you provide a vector file of the logo, such as a .ai or .eps file.
On state maps and Winkel Tripel maps, the logo would have to fit pretty well into that square legend shape, because on those maps we cannot remove the legend box.
Can you remove the legend altogether?
Yes! We can remove the legend altogether (with the exception of state maps and Winkel Tripel maps).
This is considered a personalized order, so you will need to submit it through our legend builder. Leave the header text and pin lines blank, then select "no" when asked if you are happy with your design. You can then request the legend to be removed using the text box provided.
What if I want to make a change to my map or personalization after I place my order?
We may be able to accomodate changes to map styles and personalizations after your order has been placed. Please note that if your map has already been printed at our facility, any changes may incur a reprint fee.

Can you create a custom size, style, or region for me?
Sorry, we don’t offer custom sizes, regions, or styles at this time! We will add your request to our list to consider for future products!

How do I hang my map?
We provide hanging instructions to assist you in hanging your map. Here a link if you have lost your hanging instructions:
Can I mount and frame a poster myself?
Yes! We strongly suggest mounting posters to foam core instead of cork, as it is less expensive, easier to work with, and adheres better. Or grab some stickers and put the poster in a regular frame with no glass. We cannot mount posters on our own wood fiber for you.
Can I have the canvas print gallery wrapped myself?
Since our maps are printed on canvas like many other gallery wrapped art pieces, they could certainly be gallery wrapped by someone else. However, be advised that because most of our pieces aren’t square they can be more challenging to wrap evenly (varying pressures). Also, we make our own custom boards with durable ½” wood fiber pin board backing and if you want your map wrapped for pinning purposes, you are unlikely to find anyone else out there who will do this. Their wrapped map would simply be an art piece without the extra functionality.

Do your maps feature Palestine?
Our maps currently do not feature labels for Palestine per the United Nations' list of recognized countries.
This can be changed by request. It is considered a personalized order, so follow the personalization instructions and select "No" when asked if you are happy with your design. You can make your request in the provided textbox.
