Helping Around the World
Launched in 2021, our internal Pay It Forward committee utilizes the Kiva platform to lend money to small businesses and entrepreneurs across the world.
As these interest-free loans are paid back, funds are relent out to others, and we deposit more to lend along the way.
We're honored to be able to provide opportunities to people who are working to better themselves and their communities.
As of now, we've helped people in 17 countries!

Timeline
2012
From "I do!" to "Where to?!"
When Ross (the founder & CEO) and Kendeigh returned from their honeymoon in 2012, one thing was clear: they had to see more of the world, and they had to do it together.
But the world is big and their dreams were bigger, so how do they keep track? A map was the obvious choice, but there was a problem.
Everything on the market... kinda sucked. The low quality materials and low effort designs that were available simply weren't good enough to track a journey so important.
2013
Finally, the perfect map.
A designer at heart, Ross set to work on creating a push pin map worthy of collecting his memories with Kendeigh.
After a year spent perfecting the map, Ross gave the very first rendition of our Rustic Vintage design to Kendeigh for her birthday. It was love at first sight (for the second time)!
Ross is a humble man, but he could see he had created something truly special. So, he created the Conquest Maps Etsy store.
And so began their next big adventure!
2014
Headquarters 1.0
It turned out that Ross & Kendeigh weren't the only ones who were excited to celebrate their adventures on something so beautiful.
After seeing some traction on Etsy, it was clear that Conquest Maps needed a home... so like many fresh entrepreneurs, he took it to the basement!
The space was separated into manufacturing ("the dusty side"), and the office ("the clean side"). From here, he hand-crafted and shipped every map, juggling his new business with his 9-5.
2016
Headquarters 2.0
After 2 years of dedicated evening and weekend work for Ross, plus two part-time employees, Conquest Maps was ready to take the next step: a place all of its own.
In October of 2016, Conquest Maps took over an industrial unit and set up shop just in time for the holiday rush! We were making maps faster than ever, and feeling inspired by stories from our customers about how they made the holidays special that year.
2017
10,000 Customers Served!
In 2017 we shipped a map to our 10,000th customer! A huge milestone and feeling momentum, we decided to get ambitious with our goals: to serve 1 million people!
Really wonderful reviews & stories were coming in about the impact these maps were having in people's lives, and we knew we had to keep sharing the experience of pinning your life story with as many people as we could.
We opened our own website, expanded our production space, and created many beloved map designs along the way.
2021
Inc. 5000 Business
As Conquest Maps continued to push forward (despite going through a pandemic!), we earned an incredible award for the first time: becoming an Inc 5000 company! That means we were one of the fastest growing businesses in the USA.
Manufacturing capabilities were growing, team culture was really finding its groove, and it was an honor for everyone's hard work to be recognized! We've now made the list for 4 years running.
2023
10 Year Anniversary!
From humble roots in the basement, all the way up to our 15,000 square foot manufacturing facility and an incredible team that is literally global, 10 years in business feels like quite the achievement.
We've served over 100,000 customers now, but trust us: we are just getting started!
